We can't do it alone

Sometimes its the sailing that seems easy. Off the water, its seems at times as though our work is just beginning. We try to stay fit, we train, repair and tune our boat, study the racing venues, listen to our coach, keep in touch with family and friends, laugh a little, try to eat healthy foods, keep an eye on our competition…around the world, order parts and gear. And we fund raise.

Sailing is an expensive sport, and we can’t do it without you. We pay for everything that is not donated to us. We pay for coaching, clinics, coach boats, sails, 470 boats, boat parts, gear, air travel, communications, insurance, entry fees and more.

So be a sport and help us in our sport. We are truly glad to have you on our team.

Nikole Barnes is a 2017 Graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Ensign Barnes is stationed in Sector Miami’s Incident Management Division. Her campaign is supported by the U. S. Coast Guard as well as by the U. S. Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association.

Through her participation in an Olympic campaign, ENS Barnes will acquire skills, make contacts, inspire young sailors and bring honor to her country and to the U.S.Coast Guard. The elite skills Barnes is developing is a great match for her command position in a maritime service.
